1 We travelled on our boat to Valcour Island on Lake Champlain	2 We needed some firewood to cook and stay warm.	3 Mary Alice sawed some...	4 And started the fire
5 We walked around on the island. This clearing was a firing point in the Battle of Plattsburg in the Revolutionary War	6 Shoreline. The lake is very low and these Damned Zebra Mussels died in the shallows	7 Zebra Mussels are an invasive species	8
9 Looking closely at the rock we see this schoolhouse carved by kids about 100 years ago when there was a summer camp here.	10 PI?	11 Trees are changing on the New York shore	12 This year we made a new windshield and top on our boat "Expedition"
13 Nightfall and we will go snuggle in the cabin overnight.
